ABOUT US
For more than six decades, the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association has played a critical role in protecting the quality of life in our community. Formed in 1964 by a group of dedicated residents, SOHA continues to be one of the most active and influential homeowners associations in Los Angeles. From historic tax reform and environmental protection to defeating overdevelopment and preserving local control, SOHA has helped shape Sherman Oaks into the thriving, balanced neighborhood we know today.

OUR MISSION
SOHA is a 100-percent member-funded and supported nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the quality of life for all members of our community. Everything SOHA does is funded by our member's dues - we receive no funding from the City of Los Angeles. Our fully volunteer Board and membership actively work across various areas, such as homelessness, housing, transit, airport noise, and beautification, to improve our community. We collaborate closely with our federal, state, and local elected officials to contribute to the overall development and strengthening of Sherman Oaks.
OUR VISION
We want the people affected by our efforts to notice real improvements.
By building on our past successes, establishing strategic priorities, and fostering community support, we have the foundation to become stronger and more efficient than ever
